Pagno lies in the Valle Bronda; its story is that of its abbey. On Santi Pietro e Colombano depended monasteries and churches around Saluzzo: a nunnery at Falicetto, the parish church of Brondello with its tower, others as far as Racconigi. Inside the abbey church, a fresco of Saint Michael.

The chapels sit almost all on the boundaries, high up. Sant'Eusebio stands at 750 metres, on the highest point between Pagno, Martiniana Po and Brondello: perhaps the oldest in the valley, named already in the statutes of 1508, when that ground was the monks' pasture. San Bernardo belongs to the parishes of Pagno and Piasco together. Santa Cristina stands in woodland on the Verzuolo border.
