The patron saint of Piossasco is Our Lady of Mount Carmel, whose patronal feast is held on the weekend closest to 9 July.
The town's calendar is rich in events: on 1 May a walk is held on Monte San Giorgio, while the last weekend of May sees «Assaporando», a food-and-wine walk up to the mountain park. On the first weekend of September, the San Rocco district holds its feast, on the second the hamlet of Garola, while on the weekend closest to 11 November the Fiera di San Martino is held. The town also holds Casa Lajolo and the Monte San Giorgio Nature Park.
