The patron saint of Conversano is Holy Mary of the Spring, celebrated on the fourth Sunday of May. The town's co-patron is Saint Flavian, celebrated on 24 November.
The town also keeps the memory of an event recognised as miraculous: in 1877, the healing of the tailor Cosimo Pellegrini, the subject of an inquiry opened by the canon lawyer Casimiro Gennari. Also deeply felt is the feast of the Holy Medici Saints and Saint Rita, celebrated on the first Sunday of October. The municipal territory also holds the Castello di Conversano, the Castello di Marchione and the ancient Benedictine monastic complex.
