The patron of Accadia is Saint Sebastian, celebrated on 20 January.
A historical episode, with a faithful reproduction of Accadia as it was, is depicted in two panels on the bronze door kept at the Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) in Naples, and is commemorated every year with a historical procession in period costume. On 21 August 1927 the Blessed Virgin of the Carmine was crowned with a great cavalcade and celebrations: since then, every five years, the descent of her statue from Monte Crispignano to the town centre is celebrated. The town holds the Museo delle Origini di Accadia «Erminio Paoletta» and the Campanile di Accadia, and overlooks Monte Tre Titoli.
