One of the patrons of Gonnosfanadiga is the Madonna della Salute, celebrated on the last Sunday of May; the other patron, Saint Barbara, is instead celebrated on 4 December.
Instituted in 1849, the Festa della Madonna della Salute sees the town come together for a religious procession made up of horses, tractors and traccas, the traditional Sardinian carts, decorated for the occasion. On the night of the procession, classic fireworks are always part of the event. The town also holds the Church of Santa Severa.
