The patron of Canicattì is Saint Pancras, celebrated on 3 April.
His mother church was built in 1760 thanks to donations from the Adamo barons and the townspeople. It keeps a canvas by the painter Pietro D'Asaro, known as the One-eyed, showing the Holy Family with Saint Anne, Saint Joachim and a donor with a basket of fruit; the Byzantine marble statue of the Madonna delle Grazie; a reliquary and a wooden choir, both 18th-century, the latter in Louis XVI style.
