A living nativity scene dedicated to historical trades takes over the hamlet of Santa Maria La Stella each Christmas. Organized by the local parish, this annual event brings visitors from across the island to Aci Sant'Antonio.

On 17 January Aci Sant'Antonio celebrates its patron, an age-old cult dating to the late 16th century; every other summer, the Festa Ranni brings Sicilian carts and cerei into the streets.
