Valverde’s administrative borders connect it directly to San Giovanni la Punta, San Gregorio di Catania, and a distinctive cluster of neighboring "Aci" municipalities, which include Aci Castello, Aci Catena, Aci Sant'Antonio, and Aci Bonaccorsi.
