Saint Calogerus the Hermit, patron venerated since 1537 through landslide and rebirth
📅 Every year, on 20 August
San Salvatore di Fitalia celebrates Saint Calogerus the Hermit on 20 August; his cult, documented since 1537, is linked to the 1615 Franciscan convent with a chapel dedicated to the saint, lost to a 19th-century landslide and now recalled in the local hospital.
