The patron saint of Buccheri is Saint Ambrose, celebrated on 7 December, with the church of the same name in the town. Among the other religious feasts are that of Saint Anthony Abbot, called «Sant'Antòniu», on 17 January, and that of the Madonna della Provvidenza, on the first Sunday of July: the latter is celebrated in a church rich in Baroque features, including a long, steep staircase.
Buccheri also preserves other historic traces in the mother church, in the Sanctuary of the Crucifix, in the church of Sant'Andrea and in the striking rock-cut church of San Nicola, as well as the Castello di Buccheri.
