In 1917 the Austrians threw up an airfield here: wooden boards laid over the meadow, and from there took off the aircraft that went to photograph the Italian positions. Nobody speaks of it any more. In the Pezzen castle, instead, after the fight at Malé of 20 April 1848, a volunteer of the Corpi Franchi stayed hidden for days inside a stove: the owners, the de Salis, were Lombard patriots and pretended not to notice.

Of the castle's cellars it used to be said that a treasure lay there, and that the souls of the wicked castellans were kept there, turned into toads. In the old mill, since 2014, there is the museum of the bee: the association that runs it brings together more than a hundred and forty beekeepers of the Sole, Peio and Rabbi valleys.
