The patron of Capoliveri is Our Lady of the Assumption, celebrated on 15 August.
14 July is the day of the Festa dell'Innamorata (Lovers' Feast): according to an old legend, two lovers became engaged on that very day. The legend was rediscovered in the 18th century, when the Spanish nobleman Domingo Cardenas had a vision tied to the story. The town also holds the Church of the Santissima Annunziata, the Forte Focardo and the Museum of the Old Workshop of the Calamita Mines.
