The patron of Fosdinovo is Saint Remigius, celebrated on 1 October in the Church of San Remigio.
The cult reached Fosdinovo from Berceto: the saint's relics, kept in a seventeenth-century silver reliquary, were brought there from Lucca on 1 October 1701, a date that has since become the day of the patronal feast. The relics are also shown to the faithful on 13 January, the day of the saint's death. The town also holds the Castello Malaspina and the Oratorio dei Bianchi.
