The patroness of Preci is Our Lady of Pity, celebrated on 7 June; the church dedicated to her stands in the well-fortified town that once overlooked the road from Triponzo to the Val Castoriana. In the upper part of the settlement an old pointed-arch gate with a bell tower above it still stands.
Outside the walls stands the church dedicated to Sant'Egidio, whose façade holds remains of 15th-century frescoes of the Marche school, while further down towards the village stands the church of the Annunziata, of 14th-century origin, which holds the Annunciation by Giovanni di Bindolo Boccati, considered the most important local work of the 14th century. The municipal territory, however, is best known for the Abbey of Sant'Eutizio, which in the Renaissance was the cradle of a renowned school of surgery from Preci, today commemorated by a dedicated museum; the abbey, damaged by several earthquakes over the centuries, remains the town's symbol-monument.
