The patron of Santa Lucia di Piave is Saint Lucy, celebrated on 13 December.
The Fiera di Santa Lucia, of very ancient historical origins and known beyond the borders of Veneto, owes its favourable position for trade to its proximity to the Ongaresca, one of the main great communication routes. Anciently held on the octave of All Saints, it was later moved to 13 December, becoming identified not only as a commercial event but also as a religious feast. The town also holds the Church of Sarano and Palazzo Ancilotto.
