The patron of Lazise is Saint Martin, celebrated on 11 November in the Church of Santi Zenone e Martino.
Among the traditional popular events is the Regata delle Bisse, the championship of the bisse, the traditional Venetian rowing boats with four standing rowers and no helmsman, whose Lazise stage is held between July and August. There is also the Festa dell'Ospite, in which an 8-metre pole is laid horizontally over the harbour waters. The town also holds the Castello Scaligero.
