The patrons of Marano di Valpolicella are Peter and Paul, celebrated on 29 June in the Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo.
As throughout the province of Verona, the town hosts various popular festivals, multi-day events enlivened by live music and food and wine stalls: among these is the Sagra di San Rocco. The town also holds the Roman-era Temple of Minerva and the Shrine of Santa Maria di Valverde.
