The patron saint of Monteforte d'Alpone is Saint Anthony the Abbot, celebrated on 17 January.
On the feast's weekend, or the following one, the Montefortiana is run, a foot race born in 1976 that draws around 20,000 participants every year from across the region. The Monday after the feast brings the Sagraspin, an old Monteforte tradition of gathering together over polenta, mortadèla sausage and red radicchio of Verona. The town also holds the Church of Santa Maria Fossa Dragone and the Oratory of San Carlo Borromeo.
