The patron of Pianezze is Saint Lawrence the martyr (san Lorenzo martire), celebrated on 10 August; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Lorenzo Martire.
Typical of the area is the production of the «Sandra» cherry, an early-ripening local variety: the traditional «Sagra della ciliegia Sandra» (Sandra cherry festival) is held on the third weekend of May, ahead of the festivals of the traditional cherry held in the following two weeks, such as the Sagra delle Ciliegie di Marostica and the Mostra-mercato delle ciliegie di Mason Vicentino.
