On 25 July Saint-Christophe celebrates Saint Christopher, patron of travellers and motorists, in the town that is home to the Aosta Valley's regional airport.
The Aosta Valley's airport sits here, at Les Îles, and the strip through Grand-Chemin and Croix-Noire serves as the shopping district of Aosta, which begins a few metres away. Saint-Christophe also holds the sunny adret side of the valley, with the Tzatelet nature reserve rising above the warehouses.
The town hall and library of its 3,356 residents occupy the old Roullet farmhouse, restored between 1985 and 1988. The Passerin d'Entrèves castle and five village chapels complete the picture.
