The patronal feast of San Rocco is held in San Giorgio Lucano on 17 and 18 August, with a procession through the streets of the village; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Rocco.
In the Festa della Madonna del Pantano the statue of the Madonna, brought into the village on Easter Monday, is taken back to the Sanctuary on the first Sunday of May in a solemn procession. Saint George is celebrated on 23 April and Saint Anthony on 13 June. The municipality also holds the Chiesa Madre San Francesco d'Assisi and the Chiesa di Santa Maria degli Angeli.
