The most important event in Roccanova is the feast of San Rocco, on 16 August, which draws a large number of tourists (many of them emigrants) and pilgrims from all over Italy.
The municipality holds the Chiesa di San Nicola di Bari, the Cappella della Madonna della Castellana, the Cappella di Santa Maria delle Grazie, the Meridiana di Telfi, the Anfiteatro Chiaradia and part of the Parco Nazionale dell'Appennino Lucano-Val d'Agri-Lagonegrese.
