The patron of Castelmezzano is Saint Roch, celebrated on 18 and 19 August.
The village calendar holds others: the feast of the Madonna dell'Ascensione, held on Ascension Sunday and named after the statue; the procession of 2 July, with the Madonna kept in the chapel of the Annunziata; and the Palm Sunday rites, which begin right there, with the blessing of the decorated olive branches and the procession towards the mother church.
