Patron saint festival In 132 days
Blessed Domenico Lentini, patron of a town split into two districts with two saints of their own
📅 Every year, on 25 February
Lauria celebrates Blessed Domenico Lentini on 25 February, the day of his death in 1828: the local priest has been patron of the whole community since 2000, but the upper district, the Castello, venerates Saint Nicholas of Bari, while the lower one, the Borgo, celebrates Saint James the Apostle.
