What to see · Montemilone

Built in 1861 over a Gothic church, it keeps a wooden Madonna of the late thirteenth century.

Raised by Basilian monks between 1187 and 1198 over the grotto of an old oratory.

From 1959 to 2014 it was the town library; then it went back to being a church.

A bronze eagle with a broken wing tops the war memorial of 1925.

The mural «Il ritorno di Giustino» was unveiled with the square itself in 1984.
