The patroness of Nemoli is the Madonna delle Grazie (Our Lady of Graces), celebrated on 2 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie, along with the Santuario Madonna di Sirino.
The town's musical tradition includes the tarantella and songs tied to work, worldly events and religious ones; the most common instrument is the organetto (o' mandacett), while the rites of Carnival and Easter have instruments of their own, such as o' tricca'ballac and a' trocc'l. The cupi cupi, made with a pig's bladder and played at Carnival time, is also part of the tradition.
