The patron of San Procopio is Saint Procopius (San Procopio), celebrated on 8 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Procopio.
The village's traditions are mostly tied to religious events; the most important and deeply felt is the feast of Maria Santissima degli Afflitti, on the third Sunday of September. The civil celebrations in honour of the Madonna include concerts, firework displays and the traditional dance of the Giganti (giants).
