The patron of Solofra is the Archangel Michael, remembered on 29 September, his liturgical feast day, with an evening procession from the Collegiata di San Michele Arcangelo.
The main patronal feast, however, is held on the third Sunday of June: one of Campania's most important traditional religious events, with festive illuminations, marching bands from across Italy and a closing fireworks display.
