The patron of Marzano Appio is Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on the last Sunday of August: it is the town's main feast, held every year in the second half of the month.
The last day of the feast features the so-called Incendio del Campanile, a fireworks display simulating the burning of the bell tower of the Church of San Sebastiano. On 25 July comes the traditional fiera di San Giacomo. The town holds the Castello di Marzano Appio, the Church of San Leonardo and the Parish Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo.
