The patron of Mondragone is the Madonna Incaldana, celebrated on the Tuesday after Easter Monday. Also known as the Madonna del Belvedere or «la Prodigiosa», she is an ancient Byzantine-style painting on wood kept in the Sanctuary of Maria Santissima Incaldana, raised to the rank of minor basilica.
The town celebrates other religious occasions every year: on 26 July, Saint Anne is celebrated at the initiative of the parish community of San Rufino, while at the start of October, during the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel, the town's castle is entirely lit up. Since the late 19th century, near the small church of San Rocco, the ancient Saint Bartholomew cattle fair was also held from 23 to 25 August.
