The patron saints of Vico Equense are Saints Cyrus and John, celebrated on 31 January in the Church of Santi Ciro e Giovanni.
Every 6 January, the Pacchianelle procession is held through the streets of the town centre, a sort of travelling nativity scene made up of over three hundred people bringing gifts to the Christ Child. On Good Friday, every three years, the Morte ed Orazione confraternity of Seiano organises another traditional procession, involving over three hundred and fifty performers covered in red hoods or dressed in period costumes, carrying in procession the statues of the Deposed Christ and Our Lady of Sorrows. The town also holds the Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Toro and the Giusso Castle.
