The patron of Mompeo is Sant'Egidio, celebrated on 1 September; the village holds the Chiesa della Natività di Maria Santissima.
A large part of the folk traditions of Mompeo consists of expressions of popular religiosity and patronal feasts, which still retain a particular charm and accompany with music, songs and colours the events that recur every year. The municipality also holds the Ponte Romano di Mompeo, the Palazzo Baronale Orsini-Naro, the church of Sant'Eleuterio and the Chiesa della Madonna del Mattone.
