The patron saint of Magliolo is Saint Anthony the Abbot, celebrated on 17 January, in the parish church dedicated to him in the main town, dating from 1443: on the facade an inscription reading «1443 DIE 4 APRILIS» is still legible, dating its foundation to 4 April of that year, while the bell tower, also from the 15th century, rises in two storeys with mullioned windows.
Magliolo's municipal territory also includes the sanctuary of Saints Cosmas and Damian, the chapel of the Madonna di Lourdes, and the two 19th-century forts of Tortagna and Settepani, part of the defensive system that once protected the inland area of Savona.
