On the Bric Gettina open the mines of the Porrino, which here they call Purin: silver-bearing galena, already dug by the Del Carretto to get silver out of it, and abandoned today.
Higher up lies the upland of Pian dei Corsi, and there the memory is double. On the night of 2 February 1945 two fascist columns, helped by the snow, fell on the partisan camp firing among the tents: eleven dead, one of the worst episodes in the valley. On that same upland, since 2010, three wind turbines turn, named after the mayor who wanted them. The population is 564.
