The patron saint of Mallare is Saint Nicholas of Bari, celebrated on 6 December in the church dedicated to him, with the patronal feast. The town's religious calendar also includes two other important observances: 8 September, the feast of the Nativity of Mary, and Good Friday, when a solemn procession reaches the sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Eremita.
Mallare's municipal territory also includes the provincial protected area of the Rocche Bianche, the chapel of San Bartolomeo, the Castello del Miele, and the monument to Mallare's fallen and missing of the Great War.
