The patron saint of Seriate is the Most Holy Redeemer, celebrated on the last Sunday of September in the church named after him.
The inauguration of Seriate's railway station on 20 May 1858 gave rise to great celebrations: the railway was then considered the height of progress. The town also holds the Roman Cistern, evidence of its ancient past, and the churches of San Grisogono and the Madonna del Buon Consiglio.
