The patrons of Monte Isola are Saints Faustinus and Jovita, celebrated on 15 February.
A local feature is laying perch, agoni (locally, but improperly, called sardines) and bleak out to dry in the sun on wooden arches: the tradition survives even in the surname Archetti, the most common on the island. Every five years the festival of Santa Croce di Carzano is also held.
