The patron saint of Rovato is Saint Charles Borromeo, «the current patron of Rovato», celebrated on 4 November in the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta.
In November, the town also celebrates manzo all'olio, a typical dish of ancient culinary tradition, protected under the De.Co. label. Its origins intertwine with those of the Cattle, Cheese and Goods Fair, documented as early as July 1868 and continued to this day as Lombardia Carne, the only travelling fair in the region. The town also holds the Quistini Castle and the church of Santo Stefano.
