The patrons of Nesso are Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated on 26 June. The area around the parish church of Santi Pietro e Paolo is still called «Puss al Dom» today, meaning «near the duomo», because the inhabitants preferred this church to the others for celebrating Mass and over the centuries came to rename it «duomo».
On the second Saturday of August the feast of San Lorenzo takes place, with a fireworks display; on the first Monday of March there is the traditional agricultural fair, which once marked the start of the herds' transhumance.
