The patrons of Cesana Brianza are Saints Firmus and Rusticus, celebrated on 9 August in the Church of Santi Fermo e Rustico. The two soldier-saints, of Bergamasque origin, are said to have been killed on that very 9 August of 304, by order of Emperor Maximian, for their Christian faith.
On 16 July, the liturgical feast of the Madonna del Carmelo is also celebrated. The town overlooks the Parco della Valle del Lambro and the Parco del Roccolo, and holds the Belvedere di Cesana Brianza.
