Cernusco sul Naviglio celebrates Saint Roch on 16 August, in the church dedicated to him in the hamlet of Ronco; the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta, probably founded in the 9th century, holds on its façade the Sole di San Bernardino, once displayed on Syracuse cathedral.
