Around it, the town of 20,121 — Cornaree in dialect — lives its metropolitan life eleven kilometres from the Duomo.
The area keeps more farmland than its position suggests, agricultural park farmsteads recalling yesterday's rural calling. Rho and the trade-fair district are next door, and the transport links do the rest.
