The patron saint of Lainate is Saint Victor, celebrated on 8 May in the church named after him.
The church's high altar dates from the early 17th century and is adorned with an 18th-century polychrome stucco antependium; in the first chapel on the left is an 18th-century altar in polychrome marble, built at the will of Count Giulio Visconti. The municipal territory also holds the famous Villa Visconti Borromeo Arese Litta and the parish church of San Bernardo.
