The patron saint of Pioltello is Saint Andrew, celebrated on 30 November: he is patron of the town's oldest parish.
Among the town's main festivals, both recently established, are the Festa dello Sport, previously known as the Festa Cittadina, held in the first week of June, and the Fiera di Santa Lucia, which enlivens the month of December. Pioltello also recalls, for historical reasons, the Marian Jubilee tied to the sanctuary of the Beata Vergine Assunta, one of the most significant places of worship in the municipal territory, together with the church of the Immacolata and the chapel of San Rocco.
