The patron of Caponago is Saint Juliana of Nicomedia, celebrated on the first Sunday of September in the Parish Church of Santa Giuliana. As in many towns in the area, the feast derives from the old end-of-summer harvest festivals.
The following Sunday brings the traditional Palio di Avucat: the town is divided into four districts, San Vigilio, Molgora, San Giorgio and Restelon, which compete against one another in sporting contests.
