The patron of Cornate d'Adda is traditionally Saint Aloysius, celebrated on the second Sunday of September in the Church of San Giorgio Martire, to whom the parish is formally dedicated.
As Saint Aloysius's day falls on 21 June, until the late 20th century summer was harvest time, so the feast was moved to the second Sunday of September. The town also celebrates the feast of the Alpine soldiers, alongside the usual national holidays. The town also holds the Church of Sant'Alessandro Martire and Villa Paradiso.
