The patrons of Mede are Saints Marcianus and Martin, celebrated on the fourth Sunday of August in the Church of San Marziano.
On the second Sunday of September, the Palio d'la Ciaramèla is held, a folk competition among Mede's ten districts: J'Angial, Marcanton, San Roc, Cruson, Pasquà, San Banardin, Piasa Giaratta, Roca Bianca, Busch and Gab. Every May, instead, the Sagra della Cotoletta is held, dedicated to one of the most famous dishes of Lombard cuisine. The town also holds the Church of San Giovanni Battista alla Trinità and the Teatro Besostri.
