On 24 June Visso holds the feast in honour of Saint John the Baptist, patron of the town, with its characteristic fair.
Around mid-July the Torneo delle Guaite takes place, a late-medieval historical re-enactment with a challenge between the five contrade, the «Guaite», which brings the area's traditional activities back to life through folklore; in 2023 it reached its twenty-first edition. On 8 September the Madonna Bruna is celebrated, so called for the colour of the wooden statue kept in the Collegiata di Santa Maria; on the first Sunday of May, at the Bramante-style temple of the Santuario di Macereto, the feast of the Madonna di Macereto is held, a meeting place for the neighbouring municipalities of Visso, Ussita, Pieve Torina and Valfornace.
