Gradara celebrates Saint Terentius of Pesaro on the third Sunday of September in the church of San Giovanni Battista; the town is dominated by the Malatesta Rocca, the most visited museum in the Marche region, and by a double ring of medieval walls.

The patron saint of Gradara is Saint Terentius of Pesaro, celebrated on the third Sunday of September in the parish church of San Giovanni Battista, one of the town's main places of worship alongside the church of the Santissimo Sacramento.

Gradara is known above all for its historic Rocca, which together with the fortified town and the double ring of medieval walls surrounding it forms one of the most characteristic examples of medieval architecture in the Marche region: the fortress, today the most visited museum in the region by number of visitors, was over the centuries subject to the rule of various noble families, from the Malatesta to the Sforza, from the Della Rovere to the Mosca.
