The patron saint of Ferrazzano is Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on 13 June: a statue of him, together with those of Saint Roch, the Virgin, Saint Michael, the Most Holy Crucifix, the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Saint Joseph, adorns one of the seven altars of the town's parish church, the latter statue the work of the Campobasso artist Paolo Saverio di Zinno.
The Carafa castle, of Norman origin, was rebuilt between 1498 and 1506 following its earlier destruction during the 1496 earthquake, completed in the early 17th century following the typical 16th-century attempt to convert the rough medieval fortress into a comfortable noble residence. The castle is reached by a small stone bridge that replaced the wooden drawbridge at the end of the 17th century, while the entrance preserves the original Carafa-Molise coat of arms.
